2024 Paris Summer Olympic Marathons

What more can I say? I was in the right place at the right time. Records were set and a thrilling nail biting finish that I was in position to capture as Sifan Hassan overtook Tigist Assefa for the gold medal.


Tola decimated the men's field in the final stage of the race. Leaving the field in the wake of his prowess with ease.

Paris, France


This was the crown jewel of my year in covering running. This also presented the most challenging aspects of international coverage. I learned how to overcome seasonal allergies, a migraine, mixed with a Parisian heat wave and succeeded in capturing key moments on a global stage.

The field was stacked with the best of the world who did not hold back in facing a challenging course.
