The crown jewel of Chicago running is the Chicago Marathon. On assignment with 3RUN2 at the crew cheer zone at mile 20.

This year I took on new duties to capture more video of the action on race day. With that as a priority I found myself snapping photos with a relaxed sense of ease. A year's worth of covering the world majors culminated in the familiarity of the chaos and jubilation that is a marathon cheer zone.

2024 Chicago Marathon

The Chicago Marathon is one of(now 7) Abbott World Majors. With a field of over 52,000 athletes. It can be overwhelming to some, but this is home for me.

One of Chicago's most established running crews hosts runners from around the world with the marathon taking center stage. Covering the weekend's multiple events is a joy and honor to do every year.
